SCENIC MATERIALS

The basic grass cover is SM21 Summer Grass Mat laid on the scenic contours which are made up with formers of modeling foam SM10 cut with a hot wire cutter and packaging cardboard covered with strips of SM100 Mod Roc plaster bandage.
Longer grasses from SM190, 191 and 192 Rough Grass in light green, dark green and beige, together with Flock Scatters SM 170,171,172 and 173 enhance the effect.
The ground finish is completed with sprinklings of variously coloured foliage scatters SM150, 151, 152, 153 and 154 which provide the final colouring and textures.
Trees are from our 25 piece pack of mixed deciduous and fir trees SM121 and Seafoam Trees SM124 (approx 50 trees per box). Seafoam is one of the most realistic tree making materials available. Flock Scatters SM170, 171, 172 and 173 followed by a very light covering of Foliage Scatters SM150 to 154 gives the final 'twigginess', colour and texture for a perfect tree.
Rock faces were made from SM119 fine plaster
applied directly to the Mod Roc scenery base.
